NAIL ART TUTORIAL: WITH A CHERRY ON TOP!
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice-cream…nails! There are different variations of ice-cream nails, but we like to stick to what tastes best – chocolate sundaes. This rarely happens, but all 3 polishes used are from OPI’s Texas Collection – the 3 colours look so great together, we are trying to come up with another nail art design with the same combination. This collection was filled with bright, bold colours mixed with neutral shades, and they all look great paired together.
Step 1: After applying base coat, paint nails with two-three coats of OPI- San Tan-Tonio. This creamy beige is a staple in our collection and is perfect for mimicking chocolate ice-cream.
Step 2: After base/icecream colour has completely dried, it’s time to put on the chocolate sauce. Using a nail art brush, or any type of small paint brush, create drips with OPI – Suzi Loves Cowboys. We find it works best if you create the outline (pictured below) then fill in the rest using the brush from the bottle, giving it a thick even strokes. Add a few extra drips down the nail to switch it up.
Step 3: What is a sundae without a cherry on top? Not one we want to eat. Using a dotting tool, dip into OPI – Big Hair, Big Nails and place the cherry in the middle of the nail. This looks best is you dot it a few times so the cherry almost looks raised.
Voilà – nails that are good enough to eat! This nail art is fairly easy and can be modified for different looks – different icecream flavours, sprinkles, etc. Try it for yourself and tweet us the results.

This is probably by far my favorite nail tutorial I’ve seen in a while. Way too cute!
