NAIL ART TUTORIAL: PAISLEY PERFECTION
Twisted teardrop, kidney shape paisley is a print we never stop loving – whether it’s wallpaper, clothing or furniture – the design always looks different and never goes out of style. We wanted to challenge ourselves a bit this week & thought we’d try our version of a paisley nail art.
Step 1: After applying a base coat, rotate each nail colour on different nails - China Glaze – For Audrey, China Glaze – Liquid Leather & Sally Hansen – Whirlwind White. We thought the design would be more eye-popping with each colour used for the paisley.
Step 2: Using one of the opposite colours, begin painting the larger kidney-shaped design. We found it best to almost paint an oval, expand on the bottom & curl it out. Paint 2-3 larger kidney shapes on each nail.

Step 3: Using a dotting tool, dot around part of the perimeter of the larger kidney shape. Fill in the blank spaces with small tear drop shapes – we tried to make them like a quote mark or a ’6/9′. Fill in the big space of the large kidney shape with a solid teardrop. This is the time to get creative! Place shapes and dots where you see fit – leaving a little of the base colour showing.
We LOVE how these turned out – another paisley thing to add into our lives. You can switch up the design by adding more colours, glitter, neon on black, etc. This design is on the more difficult side and takes a bit of patience, but if you have a free night, it’s great to experiment with!
