NAIL ART TUTORIAL: BRIGHT TRIANGLES
Step 1: After applying a base coat to your nails, paint two coats of Julep – Pippa. Like we said the other day, SUCH a great neutral shade. It’s tough finding one that is not too white, or grey or brown based, but Pippa is perfect!
Step 2: Using a dotting tool find the middle point of your nail and place a polka dot. Create a triangle shape with polka dots towards the tip of your nail. We used Julep – Lauren, a nice bright pink that popped against our neutral base. We alternated starting colours on each nail.
Step 3: Repeat Step 2, this time using Julep – Leah, a gorgeous kelly green. Alternate colours for a total of about 3 triangles. Don’t forget to seal in your design with a top coat!
Julep is a fun hand, foot & nail care company with 4 salons in the Seattle area. They also came up with the idea to share their love of nail polish & finding new shades with everyone – for $19.99/month you can receive a package from Julep tailored to your style! You can purchase Julep polish online for $14/bottle here.
This design is perfect for incorporating your summer polish into Fall. Tweet @PolishYouPretty + @JulepMaven & tell us your thoughts of our Paint Splatter tutorial! Check back tomorrow for some more Julep nail art!

I’m a sucker for dots!!
So simple, but very, very cute :]
Cute design!
Neutrals and polka dots are always a good look.
Even better when combined!
where do I get a dotting tool?
You can find them at a local beauty supply or online. Or you can use a bobby pin or a straight pin in an eraser base!
Nice!
