How I’d Be The World’s Best Matchmaker

I’ve always fancied myself as a bit of a matchmaker. There’s nothing more satisfying than helping a friend to find love, and over the past few years, I’ve played a role in several of my nearest and dearest finding a partner and starting new relationships.

In fact, if I ever decided that it was time for a change of career, I think that I’d consider becoming a professional matchmaker! Of course though, I’d have to give some careful thought to how I’d stand out from the crowd, and exactly how I’d approach the process to maximise my success rates.

This is how I’d become the world’s best matchmaker…

I’d choose a niche

There are millions of people in the world, and everyone has slightly different wants and desires and needs. I firmly believe that you can’t try to please everyone at the same time, so I’d carve out a niche for myself so I had the best possible chance of quickly building up a reputation.

There are ton of options here… I could specialise in older dating, in professional dating, or in helping people to navigate free dating sites uk with confidence and ease.

I’d design a first date with a difference

When we plan a first date, most of us think of going for a few drinks, or maybe grabbing a bite to eat together. It’s the obvious choice, but it’s also lacking in imagination, and I feel that it doesn’t always give couples the chance to really gel and find out more about each other – especially if they’re feeling nervous!

So instead, I’d think outside of the box. The first dates that I’d organise would include completing an obstacle course together. This would give potential couples a real opportunity to see exactly how they could potentially work alongside each other and support their partner in achieving a goal – whilst also having fun and a good old laugh along the way!

I’d lead training on how to make the most of online dating

Online dating is a wonderful thing for busy people. It gives us the opportunity to meet people outside of our usual social settings, and connect with those who have similar interests and aims in life. It’s important to understand though how to get the most out of it.

As part of my matchmaking services, I’d cover how to write an awesome profile that paints you in a great but realistic life, how to initiate conversations, and how to make sure that you stay safe when it comes to popular sites like welovedates.com. This would give people much more confidence, especially if they were completely new to online dating, and increase their chances of finding exactly what they’re looking for.

I’d team up with other professionals to offer a complete service

Dating can be a daunting thing. If you’ve been single for a while, then it can feel like a massive step. As such, I’d do everything I could to help people to feel their best and get the outcome they desire. I recognise though that I’m not an expert in every area, so I’d team up with other professionals.

For example, I’d bring onboard a personal stylist to help people to choose amazing outfits for their dates that allowed them to feel amazing. I’d also consider working with a personal trainer, to help those who wanted to also take on a new exercise regime. My service wouldn’t just be about finding love… It’d be about becoming the absolute best version of yourself, and living a life that really lights you up!

Matchmaking is an important job, and I also think that it would be a hugely satisfying career choice. After all, what could be better than knowing that you played an active role in helping someone to find their one true love?

Though I don’t have any plans to quit my job any time soon, this is something that I’m definitely going to think about for the future! I think it has the potential to be a thriving business which makes a real difference to people’s lives, and allows them to find the happiness they desire.

If you are single and hoping to get back into the dating game, then do the above services appeal to you? What kind of qualities would you look for in a matchmaker, and what kind of support and advice would you expect during the process?

Leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts – I’d absolutely love to hear them!
